To Pronounce Tauranga - tau·rong·uh - Māori language for resting place

It was a partly cloudy day, and it was a day for kayaking, the glow worm caves and the Hot thermal pools on lake Rotoiti.

The ozone layer is quite thin this far south, and even on a cloudy day you can get sunburned.

We Kayaked for 12K or about 6 miles, it was a great work out. The Glow worm caves were most interesting to find out the scientific part of there life and the Maori legend, both were great!

The crew were fantastic and i would recommend the tour, for scenery, exercise and the Manupirua springs thermal hot pools and the legends to boot.
