Before the storm: tropical cyclone Alfred – In Bonalbo

Tropical cyclone Alfred is just off the coast of Byron’s Bay in New South Wales, it’s a slow-moving cyclone, but very large. Bands of Rain and wind have been coming ashore for the last 2 days and tonight or tomorrow, the full-on storm hits the coast.
Here are some photos about town, sandbags are being filled, and culverts were being filled with rocks and slag. The radio is issuing warnings on the half hour.
